Conor aka Mouse Man is an electronic musician based in Seattle, WA who was mentioned in a prior interview with Austen (Tiny/Clair) from Alaska/Oregon - who shared the stage with them at a show in Bellingham, Seattle. First seeing Mouse Man’s music was a surprise, totally different then what I expected but I felt really connected to the music and everything right away with similar music to what my sister - Sean Monaghan - makes but on the other side of the country with completely separate influences and stories. Diving into Mouse Man’s music and visual art around the music is a trip, a huge palette of ambience and sounds with really interesting visuals and complex backgrounds or descriptions of stories connecting to the musical part of the project. Mouse Man also takes a lot of influences from Detroit techno and music from the region as they talk more about in the interview - as well as their influences, their inspirations not only musically but visually, and just overall what they're trying to convey with their music. It was really cool connecting with artists from different regions of the country and you can catch Mouse Man live at all sorts of venues around Seattle and listen to their huge discography: on Bandcamp - mouseman.bandcamp.com as well as SoundCloud - https://soundcloud.com/mousemane
